How do I reach the trip planner?

The desk is operated by Komodo Luxury, based in Labuan Bajo. Bookings are handled directly by its reservations team — there is no call-centre relay.

Travel dates
Your arrival in Bali and the latest date you need to be home. A month is fine if you are flexible, but a booking needs exact days.

Adults, plus children under 12 — they are exempt from the marine park card.

July, August and Christmas weeks are requested first. Writing early leaves more boats and better flight days on the table.

How does booking work?
Dates and group size are all that is needed to start. The rest follows in the same thread.
2027 inquiries are welcome on the same two essentials. Fees quoted today may change after the Q4 2026 review.

Date check
Garuda GA 686 is the nonstop, roughly once a week, leaving 01:30–01:40 and landing 05:40. Most days mean one stop via Makassar (about 6h35 total) or Jakarta.

Sorong ground plan
The airport is 15–20 minutes by car from the ferry port. Grab and Gojek may not pick up at the airport or harbour, so plan on a pre-arranged car.

Fees and documents
The park card and regency levy are paid online via the Marine Park Authority portal, or on site at Sorong harbour and the Waisai office. Indonesia's single digital arrival card has applied since 1 Sep 2025.

Confirm in writing
If the plan uses the public ferry, the Sorong–Waisai crossing takes about two hours; from 1 Sep 2026 it runs daily at 09:00 and 14:00 both ways, and only at 14:00 on public holidays.
