How early should you book?

Travel dates and group size. Holiday weeks go first, and group size decides which boats are even possible.

Once dates are held
Boat confirmed and quoted in writing. Date first, boat name second.

October–November
Bali–Sorong and return seats. The nonstop runs roughly weekly, so the seat decides the day.

November
Marine Park Entry Permit and regency levy. Non-refundable once issued.

Shortly before flying
Digital arrival card and the Bali levy. Both done online.

Early December
Reconfirm flight and ferry times. Wet season: request 3–4 hour hub connections.

What does a peak-week itinerary look like?
Ten days, with the Christmas nights on shore and the sailing either side.

Land at Ngurah Rai, digital arrival card, Bali levy. Airport car booked.

Days 2–3 · Bali
Recovery days; Christmas Eve or Christmas Day on shore.

Day 4 · Bali to Sorong
The nonstop if the weekday fits, otherwise a one-stop. Airport-to-port car waiting.

Days 4–10 · Raja Ampat
Six nights on a whole-boat charter with captain, crew and private chef.

Day 10 · Sorong onward
Leave the boat, fly back via Makassar, or add a post-trip Bali night.
