How much does a Bali to Raja Ampat package cost in 2026?
The price depends mostly on where you sleep in Raja Ampat. Flights, transfers and levies work like fixed costs. The boat or the stay is what moves the total.

Which length fits: 7, 10 or 14 days?
Komodo Luxury’s Raja Ampat sailings usually run from 7D6N to 11D10N. Add Bali nights and the flight, and most trips take one of three shapes. The splits below are rough planning guides. We finalise them once your park date is set.

That covers 6 nights in Raja Ampat, 7 nights in Komodo and a travel day, and includes Sorong–Labuan Bajo domestic flights and park fees. Sorong to Labuan Bajo is flown via Makassar or by direct charter.
How does the Bali to Sorong flight work?
According to FlightConnections and fltmapper snapshots from September 2026, Garuda Indonesia GA 686 is the only nonstop. It flies about once a week on a Boeing 737-800, leaves at 01:30–01:40 and lands at Domine Eduard Osok (SOQ) at 05:40, about 3h05–3h10 later. FlightRoutes lists Thursday, Friday or Sunday departures.
Most days have no nonstop, so plan on one stop in Makassar (UPG) or Jakarta (CGK). FlightRoutes puts a Makassar connection at about 6h35 in total. Trip.com also shows Lion Air JT944 leaving at 07:00 and arriving at 14:45.
- Allow 6–10 hours door to door, not counting transfers.
- In the wet season, ask for a 3–4 hour connection at the hub.
- Since 1 Sep 2025, one digital arrival card with a QR code has replaced Indonesia’s separate arrival, customs and health forms.
How does booking work?
- Send your brief on WhatsApp. Your dates, group size and Bali nights are enough to start.
- We fix the park date first. Raja Ampat issues dated tickets, so the reservations team confirms your date before naming a boat.
- We match a boat or stay. Your tier, the number of cabins you need and how many of you dive decide the vessel or partner stay.
- We plan the flights. We use GA 686 if its day fits your dates. If not, we connect you through Makassar or Jakarta with enough time between flights.
- You get a quote with every cost on its own line. The charter, flights, transfers and each levy are listed separately.
- You confirm and we issue permits. Levies are paid through the Marine Park Authority portal or in person at Sorong harbour or the Waisai office. They can’t be refunded once issued.

Is a Bali to Raja Ampat package cheaper than booking each part yourself?
Not always. Bali to Sorong fares vary a lot depending on where and when you look, and you pay the official Raja Ampat levy amounts either way. What a package saves you is the risk: missing a connection at the hub, finding no ride-hailing pickup in Sorong, or booking a boat before your park date is secured.
Can non-divers join a Bali to Raja Ampat package?
