The Bali Raja Ampat privacy policy covers the details you send through our inquiry form, email or WhatsApp (name, contact details, travel dates, group size, trip preferences) plus basic website statistics. Komodo Luxury uses them only to quote and book your Bali-to-Raja Ampat trip. We never sell your data, and you can ask to see, correct or delete it.

Who runs balirajaampat.com and who is responsible for your data?
- Publisher: Juara Holding Group publishes this website.
- Travel desk: Komodo Luxury is a travel operator based in Labuan Bajo. Its own reservations team handles every quote and booking.
- Suppliers: anything the desk does not own, such as airline seats, Bali hotels, ferries, transfers and boats, is arranged via vetted licensed partners.
This policy follows Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law, Undang-Undang No. 27 Tahun 2022 (“UU PDP”), fully in force since 17 October 2024. For visitors from the EU and UK, we also follow the core GDPR principles: a clear purpose, only the data we need, and real rights for you.
What personal data do we collect?
| Where it comes from | What we receive | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Inquiry form | Name, email, WhatsApp number, country, travel dates, group size, budget range, message | To prepare a quote |
| WhatsApp (+62 811 3823 875) | Phone number, profile name, messages, files you send | To reply and follow up |
| Email (sales@komodoluxury.com) | Email address, message, attachments | To reply and follow up |
| Booking stage only | Name exactly as in passport, nationality, passport number, date of birth, flight details | Tickets, permits, hotel and boat manifests |
| Only if you choose | Dietary needs, allergies, mobility or medical notes | Safety and catering on board |
| Website visits | IP address, device and browser, pages viewed, referring site | Analytics and security |
Under UU PDP, health information is specific personal data. We only process it with your explicit consent.
Please do not send card numbers, CVV codes or banking passwords through the form or WhatsApp. This website never asks for them.
Why do we use your data, and on what legal basis?
- Quoting your trip (at your request, before a contract). The route from Ngurah Rai (DPS) to Sorong (SOQ) depends on your dates. FlightConnections snapshots from September 2026 show Garuda’s GA 686 nonstop flying roughly once a week. On most days you will change planes in Makassar (UPG) or Jakarta (CGK).
- Confirming bookings (contract). Raja Ampat entry documents are issued in each traveller’s name. The Raja Ampat conservation area service tariff for foreign tourists is IDR 1,000,000 per person per year; children under 12 and people with disabilities are exempt, as set in Pergub Papua Barat Daya No. 32/2024 (checked 2026-09-16). A regency tourism levy under Perbup Raja Ampat No. 34/2025 also applies; the amount is set by the regency and confirmed at booking. Neither is refunded once issued, so we ask you to check the spelling of every name first.
- Legal obligations. Tax, accounting and permit records.
- Legitimate interests. Website security, fraud prevention and learning which guides help.
- Consent. Health notes, and news such as 2027 departure dates, only if you opt in.
Who do we share your data with?
| Recipient | What they receive | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Airlines on the route (Garuda Indonesia, Lion Air, Batik Air, Pelita Air) | Passport name, contact, date of birth where required | Ticketing |
| Bali hotels for pre- and post-trip stays | Names, dates, arrival time, requests | Reservations |
| Boat operators and crews | Names, nationality, passport details, dietary and safety notes | Manifests and harbour clearance |
| Sorong transfer and Sorong–Waisai ferry partners | Names, flight number, pickup time | Ground logistics |
| Raja Ampat Marine Park Authority and regency office | Details the permit and levy require | Legal park entry |
| Technology providers (hosting, security network, email, WhatsApp by Meta, analytics such as Google Analytics) | Technical data, messages in transit | Running the service |
We do not sell or rent personal data. Partners receive only what your trip needs. WhatsApp chats are also covered by Meta’s privacy terms.
Does your data leave Indonesia?
Yes, sometimes. Email, analytics and messaging providers may store data abroad. UU PDP allows data to be sent abroad in three cases: the destination protects it at least as well, adequate safeguards are in place, or you consent. If you write to us from the EU or UK, your data goes to Indonesia because that is where your trip is arranged.
How long do we keep it?
| Record | Retention |
|---|---|
| Inquiry that did not become a booking | Up to 24 months after last contact, then deleted or anonymised |
| Confirmed bookings and invoices | Up to 10 years, in line with Indonesian tax record-keeping rules |
| Passport numbers and copies | Deleted within 90 days after your trip ends, unless a claim or legal duty requires longer |
| Health and dietary notes | Deleted within 90 days after your trip |
| Analytics data | Up to 14 months |
| Marketing consent | Until you unsubscribe |
What cookies and analytics does the site use?
- Necessary cookies keep the site secure and the inquiry form free of spam.
- Analytics cookies count page views, traffic sources and time on page, anonymised where the tool allows.
- Click events record that someone tapped a WhatsApp or email button, and on which page. They never capture your message.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. The form may still need necessary cookies to send.
What rights do you have?
Under UU PDP, broadly matching GDPR, you can:
- know who processes your data and why;
- access it and receive a copy;
- correct inaccurate details;
- have it deleted or destroyed;
- withdraw consent at any time;
- object to decisions made purely by automated processing;
- restrict or pause processing;
- receive your data in a common, readable format;
- complain to Indonesia’s data protection authority, or to your local supervisory authority if you live in the EU or UK.
How to ask: email sales@komodoluxury.com with the subject “Privacy request – balirajaampat.com”, or message WhatsApp +62 811 3823 875. We may verify your identity first, and we will respond within UU PDP deadlines. Deleting passport details before departure can stop us issuing permits or tickets. We will tell you before we act.
How do we protect your data, and what happens after a breach?
Only reservations staff who need your data can access it, and the site runs over HTTPS. Still, no system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, UU PDP requires written notice to you and the authority within 3×24 hours. We will follow that rule.
What booking terms and limits should you know about?
- Prices are indicative as of 2026. Garuda one-way DPS–SOQ fares and Komodo Luxury’s Raja Ampat Honeymoon Cruise 2026 charters are quoted on request for your specific dates, vessel, duration, guest count and inclusions. The price in your written quote is the one that counts.
- Third parties set schedules and fees. The Sorong–Waisai ferry runs daily at 09:00 and 14:00 from 1 September 2026.
- Supplier conditions apply. Airline fare rules, hotel cancellation policies and charter contracts govern each booking. Komodo Luxury is responsible for arranging your trip accurately. As far as Indonesian law allows, it is not responsible for delays, weather or cancellations it cannot control. In the wet season, ask for a 3–4 hour layover in Makassar or Jakarta.
- No professional advice. Nothing here is legal, tax, immigration or medical advice. You fill in Indonesia’s digital arrival card (in use since 1 September 2025) yourself. You also pay Bali’s tourist levy yourself. Bali’s tourist levy for international tourists is IDR 150,000, paid through the Love Bali app, which went live on 14 February 2024, as listed on Love Bali, Bali Provincial Government (checked 2026-09-16).
- No guaranteed outcomes. No one can promise sea conditions or flight times.
What about children’s data?
Children under 12 do not pay the park permit fee, but their names still go on the boat’s passenger list. A parent or guardian must provide that data and consent to its use, as UU PDP requires.
How will we tell you about changes?
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page and point out any major changes. Questions: WhatsApp +62 811 3823 875 or sales@komodoluxury.com.
